Day 1 Wed 14th

After a 16 hour journey we arrived at Entebbe at 07:30. This journey has lost it's magic after so many trips. It's now just a job of work. BA seemed to have their act squarely in order as it was a seamless experience and actually a relatively easy journey. After a sleep (nap) it's down to business.
Visited Benedicta this afternoon after a chapati lunch. We went to plan the next two days with her and filled a week's worth. Tomorrow will be editing a website about her extraordinary straw flattening business - 'www.strawbags.org' . Only problem is this is Africa and her broadband is as fast as dial up in the UK and she doesn't have access to the host, or original files etc. and ill be working via ageing dell Pc and iphone. Even though this is what I do day in day out, I will be severely tested. We'll also be filling in a grant application to the Japanese embassy for funding. I've filled out loads of these forms for possibilities. (no mean task) - probably 3-4 hours work. Finally we chose some materials for some superb palm leaf bags. They will sell in the UK easily I hope look us up on my return and ill see that you get one (photo)
Back to the red chilli for pizza and Nile Special and then BEDddddzzzzzzz
